In 2016, Gavin Tenold was the Inland Northwest’s first and only certified consultant and builder of energy efficient Passive Houses. While working alongside Master Electrician Harlan Heise on these highly technical, custom homes, the two men quickly recognized the region’s vast lack of high-quality solar energy experts.
Out of this came a vision to combine their collective experience and expertise and bring better solar and renewable energy options to the Inland Northwest, offering the highest quality products and exceptional service, with an unmatched 25-year warranty.
Today, Northwest Renewables is the region’s leader in solar design, solar installation, solar battery systems, electric vehicle chargers, generators, and Mitsubishi ductless heating and cooling systems. With an incredible team of highly-trained and certified experts, Northwest Renewables is raising the bar, and elevating energy independence for homeowners and commercial clients across the Inland Northwest.
